As a skirt-wearing man in my mid-30s, I don’t know how many times I have heard the comment: “Men wearing skirts is something only the young generations do.” I’ve especially heard that from older generations and every time I hear that, I think about how untrue that is.
Many of the skirt-wearing men I have talked to are both much younger and older than me which just goes to show that it is most definitely not a generational thing.
So, let’s find out just which age groups wear skirts.

I am a 73 year old male skirt-wearer😀
Good of you to admit your age – more than I woud do. But then, if course, there is no upper age limit to wearing a skirt: get one to die for…and die in.
That’s great! It really just goes to show that it isn’t just something for specific generations.
Good to see so many experienced beskirted guys over here. With age comes wisdom, some say, although given the profiles I have already seen, some got this wisdom earlier and just keep it.
I can imagine that younger people are staying on some Reddit/TikTok forums as the website here is more about story-telling / story-sharing experience instead of rather image-driven scroll-page, but still being in 20s gives me hope for a decent remaining life time-frame to find and wear skirts.
You’re probably right about some of the younger people being more on social media than blogs. From what I’ve seen from the younger members of my extended family, it seems like a lot of them don’t have the attention span to read long-form posts, although that also might just be my own bias and I would be absolutely thrilled if I was wrong. 😉
