I have to say I much prefer them with feet, both for the comfort of not having the sock elastic around my ankle and the seamless look…
I do however mostly wear footless, as you say they don’t need to go in the wash as often and I need socks at work when I change into my scrubs. During the colder half of the month I usually have a thick pair of wool socks over both too so that eliminates the visual seam. I’m often without tights in the summer so the footed tights usually are mostly for dressing up nicely.
If the tights are sheer ones I prefer with feet. If they are thicker spandex leggings, then I can take feet or leave them. After a wearing I will wash my tights due to how I wear mine.
Tights with feet all the way, and when you come from the femboy “movement”, the so called programming socks are the prequel to discover this type of forbidden clothes for males. Tights without feet are just “long johns”
Wow, never heard of programming socks before. Interesting that this is a “thing.” I’m not clear on the “why?” Is there something about programming that made such long socks beneficial?
no one makes footed tights with foot section long enough for my paddles (US 15 mens). SO i have little option, really. That said, I do have long socks, fully footed, and I agree with Alex’s point about wearability after one round.
I definitely like footed over footless. I think they look way better especially on women. There’s nothing that ruins a great look more than that broken end at the ankles or the weird transition to a sock. Socks just don’t have the same classy look to them.
In terms of comfort, I’m a bigger fan of footed tights as well. I’m not one who goes barefoot often and having a sock and the cuff at the lower leg is more constricting and uncomfortable.
And I’m also one who dislikes laundry. I so prefer to make it easier. One garment that can take the place of three others.
That’s true, but since I wear boots most of the time, there is always going to be an abrupt end to the tights.
I prefer and only wear tights with feet. Never leggings. All thicknesses from 8den to thermal tights. The reasons have already been mentioned here, especially by Greg. They fit really well even in large sizes, don’t pinch, don’t slip and are very durable.
