Nope. Queerbaiting is for profit. Personal choices in dress are just a preference with no marketing value.
Sounds about right!
Hmm, sounds/looks like trying to find some ‘political’ things in stuff that is (should be) really basic and non-ideological – I wear skirts because I can. I wear tights / thigh highs because I can. And I hope people in general try to do it because of their own decision[s] (obviously might be influenced by various conditions or even someone’s few words) rather than trying to follow some trends or even try to look better in one’s eyes. Obviously we might now using benefits of things done in the past, like glam rock/metal movement and all these fancy things Queen or Twisted Sister did back in the days. On the other side, I really appreciate how long hair guys had in 1980s – now all I see around in my neighbourhood and even the city core once I get there once in a while is ‘short trimmed hair’ and I really find it disappointing.
I agree! But then again, people tend to make everything political whether it should be or not. It seems to me that most people tend to think more about what other people think about how they look than what they would actually like to wear unfortunately…
I really like the long hair too, although my hair is now short and trimmed because it’s getting too thin to look good long in my opinion. :/
