It seems like fashion publications consistently write articles about men in skirts and have for several years but that they don’t have much of an effect on mainstream fashion. Nonetheless, I think it’s important that they continue to do so because the more content there is about it, the more exposure!
In any case, this particular article is from 2022 and contains a little bit of history of men in skirts as well as some styling tips. Unfortunately, I find them to be too much like “runway fashion” for my taste but at least it’s there.

Well, sadly the author decided to pick up style that is not about wearing skirt alone and look down to earth – instead we see there barely sensible dress of trousers and skirts with quite extreme colour selection. Maybe readers of Bazaar are into it, but I’m afraid this is the quite common perspective of “fashionista” who thinks that some stuff from fashion events will suddenly get into minds of ordinary folks (not even mentioning if they would afford that). I hope these guys will understand one day that the change here can’t be radical, just like it wasn’t for women to start wearing trousers. And finally – pockets, please.
That is true. The “fashionista” style really isn’t my thing at all but at least there are still men in skirts! In that sense, it could be worse!
