I have largely been absent from the internet for the past three weeks because I have been down and out with the flu. It seems to be a particularly nasty strain and, while I’ve certainly gotten better, just doesn’t seem to want to go away entirely.
As such, I just haven’t had the energy to do much at all. I haven’t replied to comments, worked on any new posts, posted new pictures on Instagram or done much of anything. I’ve worn my warm maxi skirts because they make great built-in blankets, but I can’t be bothered with posting pictures right now. I will get back to it eventually though.
Thanks for the patience and understanding!
How would you rate this post?

Sorry to hear you haven’t been well. I hope you make a speedy recovery.
Thank you!
Get well soon :).
Thank you!
I spent three days in bed just before Christmas and hardly eat a thing and had nearly two weeks off work,it turned into a chest infection antibiotics for a week so I know just how you feel.Get well soon.
Thank you! Infections are really nasty. I also hardly ate anything…
Get well Alex, this year’s winter isn’t cold enough to get rid of typical autumn diseases, but I somehow didn’t encounter health issues recently. Maxi skirts are the way to go during winter – I get it that someone wants to look pretty and cute during winter too, but I’m really surprised seeing various people with bare ankles
Thank you! You’re lucky! Here in Germany, it seems like everyone is sick. I don’t understand wanting to have bare ankles in the winter either. I don’t think it looks good. In fact, it looks silly and cold in my opinion. But if that’s what they want to do, then they should do it!
Hmmm! I wouldn’t want to look pretty and cute in any season, not just winter. I want to look confident and assertive, and if I didn’t think I could achieve this wearing a skirt then I wouldn’t wear them at all. Each to their own I suppose but I certainly wouldn’t wear a pleated, voluminous maxi skirt, lacking all of pockets, belt loops and a frontal zip.
